Ch 54 and epilogue done!!!; 93,890
Writers Tip: It is a good idea to put a manuscript away for a week to a month after completion, then take it out and read through with fresh eyes. Don't be alarmed when you first finish. Often your impression at the end of the long haul is that this is the worst thing you have ever written. After a break, you can be more objective.

*helps Mrs. Paul with her happy dance* :-D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Can't wait to see the finished product! :D
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! That must feel awesome.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely experienced that "this is awful" syndrome with my NaNoWriMo novel. Now, two months later, I kind of like it. =D It just needs a lot of work that I'm kind of scared to put into it.
Or it could be pure elation that you /finally/ finished something. :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on another manuscript completed!
*does happy dance too*

ReplyDeleteYay!! Can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations of completion!! I know how relieving it is to be done, but it's always a little saddening to me too because the end has arrived and it is over for now (which is why sequels, triquels and so on are so great).
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us share your success and the journey to that point. And thanks for putting your word count on there! I always wondered how long a normal novel was and if mine were matching up to the size of book I imagined.
So I was wondering what you will be posting on this blog now that you have finished the book... :-)
